Y varies directly with x
y = kx

y=14
x=21

14 = 21k

[tex] \frac{14}{21} [/tex] = [tex] \frac{21k}{21} [/tex]
21 and 21 cancels out

[tex] \frac{2}{3} [/tex] = k

The constant of this proportionality is [tex] \frac{2}{3} [/tex]
