Substitute either set of points into the equation:

(3, -1) and (-6,-4)

-1= -5/9(3)+b

-1= -15/9+b

-1+5/3= -5/3 +5/3 +b

2/3=b

So,

f(x)= -5/9 (x) + 2/3
