  1. the  formula that represents the equation point- slope is the following y-y1 = m(x-x1) where the point is given (-8,-3) and the slope is -1/9
  2. then you  mus substitute the values in the equation y-(-3) = -1/9[(x-(-8)] , resolving it y+3= -1/9 ( x+8) ,  y+3 =  -1/9x+9/8,  y = -1/9x +9/8-3,  y = -1/9x-15/8

of this form the equation that represent  the form point-slope is

  1. y+3= -1/9 ( x+8)
