There are five stages of drug abuse and alcohol addiction which are; Experimentation stage, regular use stage, risky use stage, the dependence stage and the addiction stage. In the second stage of addiction, individuals incorporate their substance abuse into their day to day lives. For some individuals, it may be difficult to notice especially if they are doing their regular activities.
