So the quotient is: 3x^3 -x^2 +x -4
and the remainder is: -5

verifying the remainder:
P (+1)= 3(1)^4 - 4(1)^3 - 3(1) - 1
P (+1) = 3 - 4 - 3 -1
P (+) = -5
