Solve for w

2 * 12 = 24

24/3 = 8

[tex]\frac{3}{2} \frac{12}{8}[/tex]

To find the perimeter of the floor, use this equation

(l = length

w = width

p = perimeter)

l + l + w + w = p

12 + 12 + 8 + 8 = 40

The perimeter of the floor is 40 meters.
