Are the areas of two congruent figures equal? Explain. Draw a diagram to support your answer.

Okay, so I'm not doing the diagram bit, but the answer is basically yeah.

Two similar figures do NOT always have equal areas.

However, if you have two of the exact same figure, with the same lengths and everything, they will always, for a fact, have equal areas.
