An infinite number is a number that is never-ending and is infinite in size. One example of an infinite and irrational number is [tex] \pi [/tex]. Pi is a sequence of numbers that are never-ending and never repeat itself. A symbol that can describe infinite numbers is ∞ or the infinity sign.
