The principle that mass is never lost in physical and chemical changes is known as the law of conservation of mass. It states that all transfers of matter and energy, the mass must still be constant during the time. The law also states that mass can't be destroyed and/or created. An example of when this principle is mainly looked at is in Chemistry and other sciences. That's the answer.
