After waiting for about 5 minutes, the laser was set to 6 V at mode 3, intermittent pulse, and scar ablation was initiated after the first pass. The volts were increased to 9 and second and third passes were made, after which the wound was cleaned with saline solution. Topical Bacitracin ointment was applied, and after that, Saran wrap was applied, and Kerlix was wrapped around the neck. The patient tolerated the procedure well and was discharged home.
