Moving Out
Janice looked at Stephanie as she pranced around the
whole room with a huge grin plastered on her face.
Stephanie had finally received the acceptance letter from
the university and would soon be moving to Pittsburgh.
Though Janice was extremely proud of Stephanie's
achievements, she couldn't quite come to terms with the
fact that Stephanie would soon be moving out. Seeing
Stephanie so happy, Janice remembered the day she had
received her own acceptance letter from the university.
Like Stephanie, she had also been ecstatic and had run
around the house shouting with happiness. Her parents
had congratulated her on her achievement. Her dad had
been very proud and happy about her admission to a
renowned university and had patted her on her back. Her
mother had hugged her and Janice had seen the pride in
her eyes, but there had also been a hint of sadness and
an emotion she couldn't identify. With a faint smile on her
quivering lips, her mother had told her. "I am so happy for
you, Janice darling! Today, Janice could relate to what
her mother had then felt.
